The Big Lottery Fund has awarded a contract worth nearly £800,000 to Citizens Advice to lead the Advice Services Alliance Northern Ireland (ASA), in partnership with Advice NI and the Law Centre NI. The award of this contract has meant additional funding to allow Housing Rights Service to provide free advice and representation at court for local homeowners threatened with repossession. 

"Beat the Recession" is a debt advice initiative set up to help those most affected by the representation, it is our hope that by providing free, legal advice and representation to Northern Ireland people at risk of of repossession we can make significant steps in safeguarding local homes.
