Getting advice on debt Print E-mail

Over the past few years, we've become involved in a number of projects which aim to help people who are in arrears with their mortgage, secured loan or rent payments.  Through this work we hope to reduce the risk of people losing their homes due to debt problems.

Getting assistance with mortgage, secured loan and rent arrears

If you're a homeowner or a NIHE or housing association tenant and you're worried about losing your home because you've missed payments on your mortgage, rent or secured loan it's important that you get free advice as soon as possible.

We have a team of dedicated advisers who are specialists in dealing with debt and have lots of experience negotiating with lenders and landlords and representing clients at court hearings.

Our debt services operate from 09.30 to 17.00.  If an adviser is not available when you call, our receptionist will take your details and ensure an adviser calls you back within 1 working day.  Call us on 028 9024 5640

Mortgage Debt Advice Service

In June 2011 we secured funding from the Department for Social Development to develop a dedicated advice line for homeowners threatened with repossession.  You can call the Mortgage Debt Advice Service and speak to one of our advisers between 09.30 and 17.00 Monday to Friday and up to 20.00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  If no-one is available to speak with you when you ring, we promise to return your call within 1 working day.  Call us on 0300 3230310.
