Chartered Institute of Housing Customer Service Excellence AwardHousing Rights Service is delighted to have won the "Customer Service Excellence" Award at the Chartered Institute of Housing Northern Ireland 2012 awards. This award recognises teams working in the housing sector who have demonstrated excellence in customer service delivery. Ursula Toner, Legal Advice & Support Services Manager for Quality and Client Care with Housing Rights Service collected the award. She commented "Providing clients with the very highest level of customer service is at the very heart of our work. We are delighted to have this commitment acknowledged with this prestigious award"
EFQM Mark of ExcellenceThe EFQM Excellence Award is run annually by EFQM. It is designed to recognise organisations that have achieved an outstanding level of sustainable excellence, based on assessment against the EFQM Excellence Model. Its helps organisations in their drive towards being more competitive, measure where they are on the path to excellence and help them to understand the gaps; and then stimulate solutions.
Lexcel practice management standardLexcel is the Law Society's practice management standard. It provides a framework for best practice principles for managing a legal practice. Our status as a Lexcel accredited legal advice practice means that clients can expect that their cases and files are managed in accordance with best practice. Investors in People SilverInvestors in People provides a framework to help organisations improve their business performance by investing in its people. We are commited to providing a working environment that encourages our people to grow and develop. We have held the Investors in People quality mark for over 10 years and at our most recent assessment, in 2010, were awarded the Investors in People Silver standard, indicating a commitment to going above and beyond the basic standard.
Chartered Institute of Housing Inspirational Colleague of the YearIn February 2010, Brenda Parker, Housing Advice Development Worker with the Housing Advice in Prisons project was nominated for and received the Inspirational Colleague award. We are delighted that Brenda's has been recognised for the invaluable work she is doing. Brenda has been highly praised by her colleagues in Housing Rights Service, the staff she works in partnership with in the Northern Ireland Prison Service and the vulnerable clients she deals with. A colleague commented "she has a reputation not only for her reliability and competence in what she does but also for her courtesy and approachability".
