advice_200_200.jpgHousing law in Northern Ireland can be complicated. A lot of your rights will depend on your housing situation and personal circumstances. Housing Rights Service aims to help people find the best possible solution to their housing problems by providing free, confidential advice and representation on a wide range of housing issues, such as:

  • homelessness             
  • rented accommodation
  • paying for accommodation               
  • repairs or improvements

How to get advice

There are a number of ways you can get in touch with us.

Advice online

 

Online: If you have access to the internet why not visit our website www.housingadviceni.org for practical advice on a wide range of housing issues and advice by email.

 

By phone: You can call our housing advice line on 028 9024 5640 Monday to Friday between 9.30 am & 1.30 pm.   Advice by phone

 

Advice in personIn person: You can call to our office Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 1.30pm. You will normally be seen by an adviser within 30 minutes.  If you prefer you can make an appointment to see an adviser within 5 working days.

Write to us


In writing: If you forward us your enquiry in writing we will acknowledge it in 3 working days.

 

Home visit

If you cannot access our service by any other method you can request a home visit.

 


If your problem is more complex and meets our case selection policy it may be taken on as a case by our advice team.
