The Housing Advice Practitioners' Forum is a free forum for our members to attend.
It is an opportunity for Housing Rights members to meet and discuss developments in housing, and common issues impacting clients.
In this session, we'll focus on what advisers need to know about the changes within the Social Housing Selection Scheme brought about by the implementation of phase 2 of the NIHE's Fundamental Review of Allocations, and how these will impact your clients. These include changes to the Multiple Offer Process (FRA Proposals 12 & 14), the addition of Scheme Rules to allow landlord discretion to withhold a policy assignment or refuse a policy succession under specific circumstances (Proposals 17 & 18), and changes to facilitate greater use of a mutual exchange services (Proposal 6).
