About the role
You will be working on Housing Rights’ busy helpline providing specialist, comprehensive, holistic advice and information on the core areas of homelessness, housing debt and housing issues to members of the public and relevant agencies.
You will give advice by phone, email, web chat and face-to-face. Our housing helpline and web chat are open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm.
About you
You have:
- experience in a customer contact centre or advice role
- experience using Microsoft Office and have good typing skills
- strong people skills
- strong numeracy and literacy skills
You can:
- explain complex topics clearly, both verbally and in writing
- work on one’s own in a fast-paced environment
- work with people who are in distress and upset
- work well as part of a diverse team
