028 9024 5640: Housing & Debt Helpline for Northern Ireland

Housing Rights new film shows the impact of work on local people

Housing Rights works to improve lives by tackling homelessness and housing problems in Northern Ireland. Last year, Housing Rights helped people in Northern Ireland with over 41,000 housing issues.

A few of our clients agreed to share their story and the impact our work had on them. Watch the short film to hear from;

  • Serge, who after building a home for his young family, had to move into a hostel following the break down of his marriage.
  • Isobel, who sought our help after receiving a claim for thousands of pounds worth of unpaid rent from her private landlord.
  • Carol, who as a result of marriage breakdown, temporarily fell behind on her mortgage payments and faced repossession.

If you have any problems with your housing situation, call our advice line on 028 90245640 or seek advice at www.housingadviceni.org.

The video also gives a sneak peek of our new branding that will be rolled out over the next few months!
