The forum is an opportunity to Housing Rights members to meet and discuss developments in housing. It is also an opportunity for members to discuss common issues impacting clients with each other and Housing Rights’ advice team.
The Housing Advice Practitioners' Forum is a free forum for our members and those working in housing advice to attend.
What we will cover
- Our solicitor, Dearbhla O’Connor will provide information on the Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s duty to provide temporary accommodation when a vulnerable person presents as homeless
- Our Policy Lead, Stephen Morrison will take us through the proposed changes to notice to quit periods for private tenants
- The Forum will take the opportunity to break into smaller groups to discuss the potential impacts of these proposed changes on people who use our services
