Our annual landmark PRS conference returns #PRS26
Wednesday 25 November 2026
Hybrid conference at the Skainos Centre and online.
This year, our Conference will examine the current role of the private rented sector amid a growing housing crisis. We will discuss the intersection between its functions in the modern-day housing market and the rights afforded to tenants, and how this relationship has far-reaching implications for tackling the housing crisis, homelessness, and the wider political economy.
The Conference will draw the narrative line between the current state of the PRS in Northern Ireland, its role and challenges, through to options for reform and improvement, and ultimately examine if it can make a meaningful contribution to the prevention of homelessness.
Hear from expert speakers from Northern Ireland and further afield, including voices from within the private rented sector itself. We’ll examine current pressures on the housing market and consider what prevention might look like in practice.
The programme features expert-led presentations, engaging panel discussions, and interactive workshops designed to spark dialogue and share practical insights.
Event programme to follow in due course.
