Training Courses
Housing Rights-ONLINE
Thursday, September 23, 2021 - 10:00 to 13:00

Following on from previous consultations back in 2017 to review proposals for change in the private rented sector, new legislation is due to be introduced to the Assembly ahead of the summer recess. The Minister for Communities is due to introduce the new Private Tenancies Bill bringing changes for the private rented sector.

This training session will look at the proposed changes and understand how this will affect both tenants and landlords in the private rented sector.  The session will look at both tenants & landlords rights and obligations, and review how the legislation will amend these for both parties.

Outcome of the course:

Have a better understanding of PRS and how to advise clients who are entering the sector, currently living in the sector, those who are having problems and those who want to leave the sector

Who should attend this training course?

This course will be of particular importance to housing advisers, community/residents groups, benefit advisors, political party constituency offices, private, social and hostel accommodation providers and the legal profession
